Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Your RoleCheck our D&I page here ;Job description/MissionThe Oil-free Air Division wants to be a leading provider of Engineered Compressed Air Systems into Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical, Metal as well as other industries, with more focus on Project Sales business which will be accessories along with standard air compressor.To contribute to the profitable growth through the creation and coordination of technical proposals for customers effectively on time in full.The role concentrates on the delivery of accurate, timely, technically compliant and commercially competent proposals to customers in efficient way (In consultation with Marketing managers / Manager Projects Sales & Project Manager)Interacts & cooperates with Sales team, end customers, EPC contractors and other regional Systems & Application group and various qualified vendors.Report to the Proposal Manager Oil Free Air, Pune HO.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Evaluate the technical/commercial feasibility of a tender and help to clarify customer inquiries and specifications. To Execute proposal requests in the prescribed template by having clear scope of supply from zonal sales team.Review complete request for quotations including all applicable specifications and prepare detailed exceptions as needed and maintain as necessary supporting documents for proposals, such as product descriptions, commercial terms and technical datasheets efficiently and effectively.To use technical and engineering knowledge to ensure that proposals are presented in a clear and easy to read manner that conveys relevant, accurate and up-to-date technical information consistently. To ensure proposals offered to meet customer requirements while realising a maximum consolidated profitability.Give timely, accurate, appropriate level of detail, especially during the Prokura Meetings. Prepare and lead detailed technical presentations and bid clarification meetings. Lead detailed hand over meetings with the project execution team. Responsible to achieve targets given by Oil Free Air division by improving hit rate.Manage and Maintain reporting structure to get immediate information to management and team which will be used to generate various reports.Support internal and external customers in line with our corporate values - to deliver sustainable solutions for increased customer productivity, through innovative products and servicesExperience requirements\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Atlas Copco Oil Free Product Portfolio is needed.\xc2\xb7 Experience in a Proposals/Project Execution/Sales role or equivalent.\xc2\xb7 Experience within Product Company will be added advantage.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with oil & gas, mining and metal, power industries and its customers is preferred
\xc2\xb7 Experience with API standards and specifications will be added advantage.
\xc2\xb7 Understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
\xc2\xb7 Able to read mechanical/electrical/commercial specifications and CAD drawings.
\xc2\xb7 Able to plan and organize effectively and set priorities.Knowledge/Educational Requirements\xc2\xb7 Good command (verbal and written) of English.
\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding and mature user of MS Office.
\xc2\xb7 Good presentation skills.
\xc2\xb7 Strong technical and commercial knowledge of engineered compression systems.\xc2\xb7 University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering with 4-8 years experience.Personality requirements- Pro-active, positive team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong communicator- Self-motivated, independent, flexible, well organized and methodical with clear focus on high quality and business profit
