Highly skilled and authoritative specialists offer services which range from consulting to craft & prototyping to solution & implementation and operation - everything out of one hand!We are looking for: Project Procurement Manager,\xc2\xb7 Integrating the Project Procurement Function in the CoC in Chennai in accordance with aligned global processes\xc2\xb7 Participate at project meetings from acquisition phase to the execution phase to advice on procurement matters and drive the implementation of the procurement strategies & targets for projects\xc2\xb7 Within the global team, be responsible for the procurement of on-site services in the APAC region as a special topic\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain and manage a sustainable international supplier base\xc2\xb7 Lead and Coordinate Requests for Quotations\xc2\xb7 Lead contract negotiations and secure price agreements with various suppliers\xc2\xb7 Lead the supplier selection, prepare and document contract awards\xc2\xb7 Participate in improvement projects within procurement, such as providing insight into processes, savings and efficiency gains.Use your skills to move the world forward!\xc2\xb7 Strong communicator, have strong presentation skills and are fluent in English (and Dutch) both verbally and in writing.\xc2\xb7 Enjoy working in an international environment with project and colleagues in Europe and Asia\xc2\xb7 Willing to travel in order to maintain the supplier base in APAC and in special cases participate in global team meetings in Europe in person\xc2\xb7 Keen eye, you easily take initiative and you are analytical\xc2\xb7 Stress resistant and able to act within a hectic environment\xc2\xb7 Practical and result-orientated\xc2\xb7 Enjoy being part of a team and working together\xc2\xb7 Possession of a completed bachelor's degree in procurement management or supply chain management (or equivalent education or experience)\xc2\xb7 Experience in contracting of international supplier (Project Agreement and/or Framework Agreements)\xc2\xb7 7+ year of experience in project procurement procuring complex electrical and/or mechanical technical equipment and with appx 3+ years thereof in procuring field service and on-site services of the installation and commission, preferable for Siemens Low and Medium Voltage Switchgears\xc2\xb7 Working experience in the data-center business or another project orientated environment is preferred\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.This role is based in Chennai, where youll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.Were Siemens.
