The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief:

The NIHR Global Health Research Centre aims to improve care for people with multiple long term conditions by co-designing, implementing and evaluating context specific digital intervention through publc health care system. The intervention will be implemented in Visakhapatnam, Jodhpur and Kathmandu. In addition, the Centre will engage with communities, stakeholders and build capacity of researchers and research supporting staff. The Centre will be co-led by PHFI and University of Leicester.

Deliverables:

• Provide supportive supervision to the staff recruited under the project.
• Visit the intervention sites and liaise with different stakeholders to further project objectives.
• Supervise the formative data collection.
• Liaise with frontline health workers, medical officers and other staff posted in the sub centres and primary health centres.
• Organize the training of FLHWs and MOs for piloting and evaluation the intervention.
• Troubleshoot any problems faced while implementing the intervention.
• Liaise with finance, admin and HR departments for smooth implementation of the project.
• Liaise with FLHWs, MOs and distict level MoHFW officials. Engagement with community stakeholders.
• Liaise with PHFI internal departments
• Documentation of activities on monthly basis through reports
• Draft training and monitoring plan for project personnel.
• Ability to Travel.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification:

Essential:

• Masters in Social Work, Sociology or any other related subjects.

Experience:

Essential:

• Around 10 years of experience of implementing projects in Visakhapatnam and neighboring districts and leading field teams.
