Apply now and join a growing team working in an international environmentAbout the departmentGlobal Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.The PositionThis role will be responsible for design and standardization of the end-to-end transition process for Finance GBS along with ensure successful migration of work including end-to-end planning of the transition activity, co-ordinating with Department Heads, on-shore representatives and internal teams.You will bring in relevant experience in establishing / modifying existing transition process to better suit the needs of Finance GBS and will establish appropriate governance frameworks, SOW updating process, and continuous oversight mechanisms to ensure smooth functioning of transition activities along with below mentioned responsibilities:

  • Design and provide standard communiques to relevant stakeholders on the progress of transition activities and recommend preventive / corrective actions to ensure the objectives of transitions are met.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for internal teams on the standard transition process and work with the larger DPX team to develop standard workflow tools and any other automation required for ensuring efficient and effective transition process.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvements including process re-engineering, digital and automation initiatives by establishing appropriate business cases, scoping projects, creation of project plans, and driving stakeholder engagements.
  • Contribute to development of the strategy, working model, governance and review mechanisms of the DPX team.
  • Provide direction, support to team and reviews progress of initiatives along with mentoring and coaching members across teams of the DPX function.
Qualifications
  • Relevant academic background at Masters / Graduate level within Business or Finance.
  • 10-15 years of experience working within Finance off shoring centres of which at least 5 years in a central / quasi central Transition role.
  • In-depth understanding of Transition Management process and frameworks.
  • General understanding of Corporate Finance value chain including S2C, P2P, O2C, R2R and Tax & Treasury process flows.
  • Strong analytical and data insights skills along with a lean mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with senior leadership teams
  • Strong project management skills, including strong change management skills.
  • Working experience in Transformation, Continuous Improvement, Digital / Automation initiatives.
  • Can operate on strategic, tactical and operational level; preferably strong skills on service culture and delivery, process standardization and optimization.
