Roles and Responsibilities

Handling multiple HT/LT Electrical & Construction projects, e.g. substations building construction, HT Breakers, Transformer, Poles, HT Cables and conductors' installation.

Prepare plans, details, specifications, and cost estimation for HT/LT Electrical works for Industrial and Building projects.

To be able to understand and correlate the GFC drawings with the BOQ. Prepare and maintain the WOs, Drawings and BOQ.

Could be handle of multi-Projects as a Project Manager up to 250 Cr. Pan India Projects

In-Depth knowledge of latest product/technologies available in the market.

Continually review the construction schedule & quality work during the progress of site works with regards to Electrical and Construction Projects for 33 KV / 66 KV Switching Stations and Substations.

Generate Daily and Weekly Progress reports, Site Supervision, Getting the work completion certified from customer representatives at site.

Knowledge of Electrical calculations, Sizing of Electrical Equipment, Cable Trays sizing, earthing. HT / LT Panels and switchgears installation.

Reviewing and analysing drawings /BOQs /specifications and coordination with consultants /Contractors

Laisioning with Govt/Department and knowledge of Billing.

Should have proficiency in MS Office and Auto-Cad.

Development of project schedules and manpower requirements.

Review and check technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.

Direct and coordinate purchase, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Inspect completed installations and quality-related observations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Maintain a day-to-day record of progress related to Works at the site and maintain all documents as required.

Fully responsible for the monitoring of execution of all assigned works at the project site.

Desired Candidate Profile

Should have worked with Electrical EHT/HT /LT Project companies and should have constructed 33KV/66KV substation and switching stations. And Utility Shifting Projects.

Applicant should be organized, good at documentation, Willing to travel, coordinating meetings with clients, vendors and ensure quick decision making.

Should be able to calculate quantity from drawings, prepare BOQs,

prepare bid comparatives, tender set, prepare work orders.

Should be able to lead a team of vendors/supervisors and coordinate between various stake holders and bring project to successful completion.

Should be able to drive the project with control on quality, timelines and costs at site.

Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

Should be open to re-location and frequent travel to sites.

Knowledge of tender processes and well updated with current market rates

Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 15 years' experience of project planning and execution

Min 15 -20 years experiences in EHT/ HT/LT Projects.

Experience in planning and implementing Project Schedules

Experience in customer relationship management.
