POSITION SUMMARY Candidate with 2025 years of experience of executing oil & gas EPC projects. PURPOSE: Purpose of this position is to manage a team executing EPC project and represent the project from front to stakeholders. The Project Manager will direct, control and co-ordinate the execution of projects to achieve project completion on time, within cost and at the required levels of quality taking into account safety and reliability. Projects involve engineering, procurement or construction services. The Project Manager is the individual who is expected to lead and direct all engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities required to deliver the assigned projects. To do this, the Project Manager will be required to develop strategies, gain alignment with stakeholders, implement these strategies whilst anticipating problems, and to achieve progress regardless of internal organizationdifficulties or onerous contractual requirements. Leadership is called for in the sphere of human relations and in persuasive ability, when dealing with management, peers and subordinates. NATURE AND SCOPE The position will be based at office and frequent visit to job sites anywhere in India or in globe. Functionally report to director project execution or project director when assigned to large projects. DIMENSIONS The position is expected to be based in office and frequent visit to client, consultant, vendors, sub-contractors & site for coordination and to ensure project is progressing as planned. Position is expected to represent leadership role at home office and on site, support the project team in terms of mandatory compliances per AP guidelines for safe execution of the projects. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Provides clear vision, lead the team (of at least 100+ people) and coordinate all project activities within the project scope, including activities carried out within the local office as well as by other Air Productslocations. Provide leadership in safety management, to drive the entire project team to achieve company safety targets during engineering andconstruction. Gain alignment on key project issues with internal project stakeholders such as Air Products management, business areas, operations, and functional managers. Proactively communicate with these stakeholders to maintainsynergy. Maintain a strong relationship with the external stakeholders such as client, consultants, vendors and subcontractors. Represent Air Products in meetings and correspondence with the Client at alllevels. Able to develop/follow strategies and get them implemented to deliver the projects to cost, schedule, quality whilst minimizingthe risks. Actively review performance, and adapt strategies as required to keep the project ontrack. Ensuring that there is adequate and effective communication both within the project team and externally with customer, vendors, andauthorities. Identifying risk areas and developing risk mitigation plans, monitoring risk areas and resolving issues arising and other problems in a timely manner by identifying and involving thestakeholders. Monitoring production of engineering deliverables, progress of procurement and/or construction activities against plan to ensure the project is executed asplanned. Manage all work processes in accordance with company procedures andguidelines. Regular reporting to senior management on the status of assigned project, so that they are always fully appraised of progress, achievements and any problems (potential as well as actual). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering 2025 years\' experience in project management environment 15+ yearsin project leadership role, including at least 4 years construction sitebased. Domestic and International experience of executing EPC projects as project manager is required. Experience of working with multinational company isdesirable. Must have leaded an EPC project worth at least US$ 100 Million (domestic) or US$ 180 Million (international) Experience in Industrial Gas/Air Separation industry desirable The candidate should be self-motivated, diligent and accurate, able to work under unfavorableconditions to meet project dimensions, and able to respond with urgency to solve problems as they emerge, through effective communication and coordination with internal and externalstakeholders. Flexibility to walk an extra mile to meet project deadlines during periods of peak workload. Flexibility to relocate for extended periods of time to the location of the project jobsite during the site phases of the project. Able to communicate clearly and concisely in English language.
