- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resources required for solar energy installations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Oversee the design phase of solar projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system design,
- Manage procurement activities, including sourcing of solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, and other project components.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials.
- Supervise construction activities, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and performance tests during installation and commissioning phases.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating financial risks.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Proactively address technical challenges and operational issues to ensure project success.
- Coordinate commissioning activities, including system testing, performance validation, and customer acceptance.
- Prepare project documentation, as-built drawings, and operation manuals for project handover.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, renewable energy, construction management, or related field.
- Proven experience managing solar or renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV technology, system design, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting processes for solar projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
