Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee our road construction projects, focusing on engagements with government agencies such as PMC, PCMC, MoRTH, NHAI, PWD, etc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and delivering projects within the infrastructure sector, particularly roads, and possess a strong understanding of working with government bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall execution and delivery of road construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards set by government agencies.
- Oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the project team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in road projects, with at least 3 years specifically in road projects for government bodies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects with government agencies such as PMC, PCMC, MoRTH, NHAI, PWD, etc.
- Strong understanding of government regulations, policies, and procedures related to road construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a similar role within the infrastructure or construction industry.
- Familiarity with latest technologies and innovations in road construction.
