Job Overview

DCS Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception to completion. This includes defining project objectives, planning project timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring project deliverables are met. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in cost reduction, relationship management, and supplier management. This is a full-time position based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• More than 10 years of experience in project management
• Strong knowledge and experience in cost reduction strategies
• Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with clients and suppliers
• Experience in supplier management, including audits, pricing negotiations, and contract management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and software

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define project objectives and scope, and develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure project goals are achieved
• Monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or risks that may arise
• Manage project budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost reduction strategies are implemented
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Lead supplier audits and negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers
• Develop and implement project strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and executives, ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Review and evaluate project outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
