Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Pune (Work from office)
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Timings: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Salary: As per Industry Standards
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
  • Masters degree in business administration
  • Specialization in Computers, MCA (masters in computer applications), or M.Sc. in any specialization related to computers

Certifications:
  • Six Sigma Certification & Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / or comparable project management certification
  • Good to have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the planning phase, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Creating comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Building and leading cross-functional project teams. Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring team cohesion and motivation.
  • Identifying project stakeholders and managing communication with them throughout the project lifecycle. Addressing stakeholder concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Monitoring and managing risks throughout the project to minimize their impact on project success.
  • Allocating resources effectively to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget. This includes managing both human and material resources.
  • Establishing and maintaining quality standards for project deliverables. Conducting quality reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure project outcomes meet expectations.
  • Monitoring project progress against established plans and timelines. Implementing controls to keep the project on track and taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Tracking project expenses and ensuring adherence to the allocated budget. Identifying variances and implementing cost-saving measures when necessary.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and resources. Assessing the impact of changes and communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Generating regular progress reports for project stakeholders. Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and issue logs.
  • Resolving conflicts within the project team or between stakeholders. Facilitating open communication and finding mutually acceptable solutions to conflicts.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients or customers. Understanding their needs and expectations and ensuring they are satisfied with project outcomes.
  • Documenting root causes of issues from completed projects, analyzing them for further investigation, and sharing best practices with the project management team. Continuously improving project management methodologies based on past experiences.
