Job Description

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for driving the technological vision and development of the company, with a focus on PHP and CodeIgniter frameworks. This executive role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership to manage and guide the technology team in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that align with the company's business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap with a focus on PHP and CodeIgniter.

Lead and manage the technology team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Oversee the architecture, design, and development of software applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Drive innovation and provide technical direction for new product development and enhancements.

Collaborate with other executives and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Ensure best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and deployment processes.

Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve products, services, and operations.

Monitor technology trends and developments in PHP, CodeIgniter, and related technologies, ensuring the company remains competitive.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the technology team and the organization.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within the technology sector, specifically with PHP and CodeIgniter.

Extensive experience in software development, system architecture, and technology management.

Strong understanding of PHP, CodeIgniter, and related technologies.

Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive change within an organization.

Experience with budget management and resource allocation.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
