Our dynamic team is at the forefront of strategic initiatives, shaping the future of Waystone.Summary: Reporting to the Director - Enterprise Transformation Office, the Project Manager will be an integral part of the new Enterprise Transformation team\'s success. The Project Manager will perform a hands-on role working with internal and external stakeholders, directing and managing the full project lifecycle of strategic projects across enterprise-wide initiatives.Key Accountabilities and main responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will work collaboratively, with different Waystone global departments and management across a diverse skillset covering supporting assigned transformation projects which streamlining processes for the better as the group expands its operations globally.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty to a high standard. Candidate must lead the delivery of an Enterprise Transformation project by meeting the following responsibilities:

  • Independently leads projects or large workstreams within a Program.
  • Supports the enterprise transformation office with a primary focus of the build out of Global Capability Centres, with a focus on Mumbai and supporting and/or leading strategic projects to deliver the benefits by leading project calls, tracking of key milestones and driving delivery of successful projects.
  • Provides direction to operational teams and internal stakeholders to enable timely delivery against agreed milestones. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders across various functional teams to determine priorities, agree solutions and keep up to date on progress.
  • Adherence to transition approach and updating the transition project template across all projects. Conducting governance and toll gate signoffs. Ensure project roadblocks are cleared via consultation with stakeholders and escalated if required.
  • Develops and maintains realistic project plans including underlying budget. Direct teams ensuring project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of the business transition plan to achieve future state stability, whilst minimizing risk to current operations and commercial objectives.
  • Prepares reporting of project progress against: (a) agreed milestones; and (b) achievement of benefits against strategy-driven targets; providing timely reporting for the C Suite team.
  • For transitions/migrations - to actively monitor and report on training status and competencies and to ensure that this is being completed to a high standard
  • Manages scope changes and communicates the impacts and secures approval when needed.
  • Uses metrics, project plans and dashboards to assess the success of the project and makes necessary changes. Reports project progress to Program Directors, Project Sponsors and other stakeholders.
  • Analyses relationships between projects and works with other project managers on problems and issues. Probes and initiates research to identify critical problems.
  • Leads knowledge transfer and project post-mortem for lessons learned and improves best practices.
  • Identifies, quantifies and manages issues impacting delivery of projects. Establishes clear goals and priorities needed to assess performance.
  • Promotes new thinking, creative solutions and ways of working.
  • Champion greater utilization of digital toolkit across the organization to drive out continuous improvement and adoption.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the funds industry (preferred) or broader financial services industry, in highly regulated environments.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and experience in project management methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, utilizing various frameworks, tools and techniques.
  • Prove track record in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced in financial management and reporting, to ensure budgets are kept on track.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at both senior management and end user level.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-driven, proactive and seek continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or Masters in relevant field in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Project Management qualification or certification (PMP, Prince2, SCRUM)
