Job Title \xe2\x80\x93 Project Manager Qualification \xe2\x80\x93 B.Tech - ECE/EEE/EI Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with in the audio-visual industry Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in engineering & design Skills \xe2\x80\x93 Info Comm CTS and CTS-D certification preferred Certifications in Crestron, Extron, Shure, Planar, Biamp, AMX, QSC, Polycom, Cisco and others Competent use of AutoCAD, MS Office, Visio and Database Programs Ability to understand IP networks and architecture. Strong understanding of audio visual principles, practices and design. Substantial communication skills to interface with clients, architects, contractors, project managers and company staff Industry \xe2\x80\x93 Pro AV, Security Systems, Building Management Systems, AV System Integrators, AV Consultancy Budget \xe2\x80\x93 50,000/- to 60,000/- per month \xe2\x80\x93 Site visits as necessary. Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and contractors Implement project and process management methodology, standards and tools to drive and facilitate successful project delivery. Maintain project profitability by optimizing the expenses. Facilitate internal project kick-off meeting between sales, engineering, fabrication and installation. Coordinate all in house activities associated with project execution, including but not limited to:
submittals, engineering, fabrication and installation, programming, commissioning, testing and
troubleshooting. Create and manage the project schedule. Function as the focal point for internal and external project communication and documentation. Provide regular reports of job progress to all stakeholders. Assist with, or facilitate the ordering of materials upon approval of submittal documents or
verification from engineering for design-build projects. Cooperatively manage and monitor the labour expenditures of engineering, fabrication and
installation personnel over the course of the project and communicate (upward) any issues that
impact profitability. Solicit quotes from qualified subcontractors as required. Regularly inspect installation work performed by staff and/or subcontractors. Test, or certify the performance of, installed systems. Coordinate and/or provide training to client. Ability to work overtime when required. Maintain time management to specific jobs.
