Job Summary:
The Project Manager for Water Treatment is responsible for leading and managing water
treatment projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope,
budget, and timeline. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including
clients, engineers, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to achieve project
objectives and uphold quality standards in water treatment processes.

Water/Sewage/Industrial Effluent Treatment work. Leading a team of Engineers for
ensuring time lines, costs, quality and safety requirements etc in the execution of multiple
projects related to water/sewage/industrial effluent plants, cross country pipe line works .
1. Project Planning:
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and
mitigation strategies.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.
2. Project Execution:
• Oversee the implementation of water treatment systems, equipment installation, and
construction activities.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services according to project
requirements.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, and expenditures to ensure adherence to
schedule and budget.
• Address issues, conflicts, and changes that arise during project execution promptly
and effectively.
3. Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and
regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate regular communication and meetings to keep stakeholders informed of
project status, updates, and decisions.
• Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive relationships with all
project stakeholders.
4. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC):
• Implement QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with industry standards,
regulations, and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify the quality and performance of water
treatment systems and processes.
• Document and report QA/QC findings, deviations, and corrective actions as needed.
5. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management:
• Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and
environmentally responsible work environment.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify
and mitigate hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among project team members
and subcontractors.
6. Project Closeout:
• Coordinate final inspections, commissioning, and handover of completed water
treatment facilities to clients.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and lessons learned for internal records and
client turnover.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, identify areas for
improvement, and capture lessons learned.
Salary could differ depending on the individual; the most qualified contender with the appropriate skill set for the position will receive the highest possible salary.
