Job Description

Design, install and update the Control standards & processes at the factory taking into account the Mars Standards and the continuous adaptation to existing standards of prior equipment. He/She supports the project-engineering in the preparation, installation and commissioning of new machinery / equipment / system parts related to electricals as well as control & automation standards. He works full sub-projects independently. Ensures that plant and machinery complies with the specified standards in Controls & electricals. During the project execution, he coordinates the contractors, prepares and monitors operational plans and manages the cost. Provide technical support & conducts training during start-up activities. Being subject matter expert on electrical & controls, support site engineering on issues related to electrical & controls. Evaluate and test new control technologies to increase efficiency and reduce installation costs Effective communication with other teams including engineering and maintenance. He is responsible for his/her area for compliance with Mars standards as well as all relevant regulations such as CE, ISO9001 / 14001, etc. At the same time, he/she ensures that all directives on occupational safety, hygiene and fire protection are met. Prepare the control strategy for the factories complying to global standard with support from Global engineering and implement the necessary actions. To have regular connect with global engineering to understand the latest development on controls & automation and prepare plan to implement the same. Delivery of IT and Digital Solutions. Prepare the roadmap for the factory IT and digital initiative related to engineering. Participate regional and global factory-IT infrastructure related projects to ensure valuable input and deliverables. To be subject matter expert related to factory IT networking and digital initiative and support the site engineering on the same. In consultation with global /regional engineering expert, to develop the solution related to digital initiatives as per industries 4.0 standard like digital twin-AI, Industrial Automation, visual factory etc and implement the same. To have regular connect with global digital expert to understand the latest development on controls & automation and prepare plan to implement the same. To have regular connect with other Mars site across the globe to understand the best practice on digital initiative and plan to implement relevant one in india. Complete how the job gets done and the way it operates This role is key to the company\'s project execution related to electrical, controls& automation and digital engineering initiative across India sites. The role supports manufacturing and development activities, and building/maintaining the correct standards regarding controls and electrical projects. The role handles bigger projects directly and support smaller projects pertaining to controls and electricals. The unit will look to this role for advice to support its growth activities, as well as to support existing infrastructure when required. The corporation will expect this role to be a key point of contact to ensure corporate technical standards are adhered to when creating new infrastructure, but also to ensure that Best Practice knowledge from within the Corporation is deployed in all project phases. The key job is to execute process projects in compliance with the existing standards and managing the implementation and commissioning works. This might require travel in and outside of India as well as the possibility of relocation for future projects that may take place in different regions of India. The key job is communication and validation of electrical/controls standards throughout and managing the controls, automation and instrumentation works. Is part of India cluster engineering reporting to india cluster engineering head. Follows the guidelines and procedure provided by regional FIT organization. Establishes and follows KPI\'s and SLA for every service provided. Prepares controls and IT infrastructure masterplan, assures availability of critical spare parts and manage obsolescence.
