The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer delivery Project manager, with some people management experience, to join our SITA for Aircraft office in Delhi. You will be a crucial link within the PMO team by ensuring our Delhi-based project team and the global customer-facing project teams are delivering to customers in the most efficient and optimized ways. As a local manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of this new support team, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
You will drive a variety of project initiatives, such as supporting customer-facing PMs with application onboarding tasks, and delivery of model process tracking to ensure key activities and milestones are completed on time for the GEO-based customer-facing teams.
You will ensure that network orders are meticulously followed through to activation, whilst providing timely and accurate reporting to the teams. This position offers an opportunity to work with PMO colleagues worldwide. Success in this role means you pay attention to detail, be time sensitive, possess influencing skills, and enjoy working with others of diverse backgrounds.Reporting to the PMO head, you will also be exposed to various functions within SITA\xe2\x80\x99s Aircraft business in 20+ countries (Canada, United States, France, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Spain...).
The role is new in our company, so you will contribute to its creation and evolution. As such, some activities and responsibilities will be adjusted as required.WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DOAs a project manager and line manager to a team of approx. five team members, you will need to ensure that all aspects of people Management and functional duties are executed smoothly. You will work with local People Managers and the HR Team, in line with the company culture and ways of working. That includes:

• Collaborating with the SITA for Aircraft Senior General Manager in Delhi to ensure team cohesion within this new SITA for Aircraft location.
• Working closely with the PMO Head and Senior managers to align key functional strategies that are aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitoring the quality and performance of the local team\xe2\x80\x99s deliverables, ensuring they meet standards and expectations, and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Execute the governance and reporting requirements defined with the GEO-based customer project managers.
• Driving a qualitative onboarding process to welcome new hires.
• Enforcing the office presence policy.
• Project size will vary in scope and complexity. Attention to detail, effective time management and influencing people skills are key ingredients to be successful in managing projects.
• Working with project teams - You ensure you and your team regularly track project activities against plan schedules and take corrective action on any deviations. You communicate with team members, and management promptly.
• Project Management administration - Your ability to write clearly and simply are key skill to documenting project activities. Documentation ranges from project plans, providing status reports, tracking risks and issues. Accuracy is key Qualifications:

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• Solid background in project management, with a level of people management experience.
• Minimum of 8 years experience.
• Deep understanding of the local work culture.
• Proven experience in international settings, showcasing adaptability and respect for diverse cultural perspectives.
• Ability to navigate and thrive in a technical environment, with an understanding of its unique dynamics.
• Strong business management skills to drive team performance and align with organizational goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels.
• Ability to monitor, assess, and improve team performance and deliverables through constructive feedback.
• Fluency in verbal and written English.

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Experience in the Aviation industry and flight operations is a strong advantage
• Experience in IT, SW development, or Telecommunication industry
• University degree or equivalent
• Should be PMP certified.
