Ready to redefine air travel? The journey starts here, with you at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs a Team Lead in the SITAs Aircraft Business Unit, you will hold a dual role. You will report to both, the Delhi Senior General Manager (SGM), and the Vice President of the Product & Strategy Office (VP Product), overseeing critical functions:
1.Team Leadership: You will manage the local team to ensure successful execution of tasks, meeting both time and quality standards set by the SITA Aircraft Product Organization.
2.Special Projects: You will lead and support special project assignments as directed by the Product Office, helping to drive innovation and process improvements.
This role offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally by closely working with the management team, providing insight into company operations while staying at the core of both the IT and Air Transport industries.
You will collaborate regularly with department managers and employees based in Barcelona, Geneva, Singapore, Montreal, London, Paris, Atlanta, Dubai, and the newly established team in Delhi.WHAT YOULL DO
  • Act as the main liaison between the local team in the Delhi Office and SITA for Aircraft, Product Leadership team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of goals.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to supporting the Product function, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
  • Drive recruitment efforts by identifying and selecting top candidates for roles within the local team, supporting long-term talent development.
  • Support the execution of special projects, including platform migration (Sharepoint, Teams, AHA!) and productivity improvements using Microsoft tools like Planner.
  • Coordinate and track project deliverables, deadlines, and resources, ensuring project owners are accountable and progress is reported accurately.
  • Oversee the preparation and efficiency of team meetings, including weekly, monthly, and strategic reviews, ensuring alignment with annual operating plans.
  • Provide day-to-day support to line management to ensure timely completion of employee lifecycle milestones (e.g., performance reviews, annual leave).
  • Implement strategies to improve employee engagement and leadership effectiveness, leveraging insights from annual employee surveys.
  • Craft and produce internal communications such as presentations, announcements, and meeting agendas, supporting organizational transparency and consistency.
  • Assist in market research, product governance, and user support activities to drive product innovation and alignment with industry trends. Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
  • Proficiency in modern Microsoft tools (e.g., Loop, Planner) with the ability to recommend optimization solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and organized feedback.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and focus on delivering results.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, complex, international environments, with a collaborative and innovative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the courage to challenge ideas and a passion for creating and innovating.
NICE-TO-HAVE
  • 8-10 years of professional experience, ideally in air transport or IT, with a focus on product development, operations, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of team leadership or managerial experience, including managing remote or distributed teams.
  • Experience in air transport or IT, particularly in product development or operations.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and early-stage product development processes.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) for generating business insights.
