The Opportunity•"We are seeking a Scrum Coach to lead scrum teams and releases for an analytic decisioning platform. You will be part of a highly energetic team of scrum coaches for software teams developing the next generation software platform for FICO's software transaction analytics and feature management capabilities."• - Hiring Manager
What You'll Contribute• Coach the scrum team through events like Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning to clarify and refine Epics and Stories so that the requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria for what is being delivered is clearly captured and understood by all teams members.
• Partner with Product Manager + Engineering Lead to ensure each Story has a clear Definition of Done which is understood and validated by the team.
• Partner with Product Manager + Engineering Lead to ensure they understand what is required of them to provide release readiness plans, artifacts, and receive sign-off approvals for release by following standard templates and checklists.
• Lead by example, audit to provide feedback, and coach the team regarding individual and collective ownership and responsibility for high-quality and timely Jira data.
• Mentor and influence the team on agile and scrum values.
• Empower the team to be more transparent and self-organizing including determining which metrics are valuable for the team to measure and self-assess progress on their commitments Sprint over Sprint.
• Continuously communicate and collaborate with other Scrum Coaches and RTEs to report progress to plan, understand cross-team dependencies, raise issues and risks, and facilitate removal of blockers with a sense of urgency.
• Capture Retrospective Action Items and coach the team to track, measure, and influence their Continuous Improvements.


What We're Seeking• Ideally a candidate with knowledge of FICO products, platform strategy, and how they work together.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and or equivalent experience.
• Strong Scrum delivery of about 9+ years experience for Software-As-a-Service products and cloud-based services.
• Leadership experience in Agile coaching and mentoring teams through large and complex software solution delivery.
• Scaled Agile Certification.
• Self-starter with high sense of urgency for software delivery.
• Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative style, partners well with cross-functional teams solve problems and to complete complex deliverables within tight time frames.
• Exceptional facilitation, moderation and organization skills.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Must be proficient with Jira and familiar with use of collaborative tools such as Confluence.
