Job Description


SUMMARYPMA (Project Management Associate) in Wadhwani AI will be responsible for assisting the solutions manager and project leads in tracking and delivery of the solutions. Also, PMA will provide on-ground knowledge and project management to help design, pilot, and deploy our solutions.ABOUT USWadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org.   • Understand a project\'s scope and create documents for project requirements.
  • Organize the team\'s work plans, follow up on their progress and keep a track of different projects.
  • Create a dashboard that gives an overview of all plans, projects, deliverables, obligations,partnerships, and deadlines
  • Conduct project meetings to communicate individual roles, project expectations, and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively
  • Monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluating progress and quality, and managing the issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken
  • Maintain the quality of all project documents/data to assure the integrity of a project
  • Work with the project manager to report analyzed data and communicate results
  • Develop additional tools and refine processes to help all projects run effectively
  • Coordinate schedule of activities related to the project.
  • Keep in touch with relevant stakeholders and potential new partners through briefings.
  • Organize webinars and lectures to drive community engagement, and later workshops & conferences when things go back to normal
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in project management, working with development programs.
  • Should have prior experience of working with program management tools, Gantt charts, work plans, and timelines.
  • Excellent written communication and strong experience in maintaining documents, contacts, records, and reports
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and experienced in supporting team\'s activities
  • Comfortable traveling for field visits when required.
  • Capable of documenting minutes of meetings, field findings, and drafting reports with inputs from other team members.
  • Candidates should have a Bachelors /Master\'s in Communication / Social Work / Marketing or equivalent industry experience
