Qualification & Experience:

BE Civil Engineering with 6-8 Years of experience in Civil Engineering / Projects field

Knowledge & design of facility management

Project mgmt. skill & sound knowledge of Auto CAD

Sound knowledge on PEB building design & structural design.

Know-how of factory law & PCB norms.

Up to date knowledge on latest Infra technology

Hands on in Project Management tools like MS project, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Continuously update his knowledge base by working with related Timken professionals across the Globe, to combine people experience with latest engineering practices/ Technical advancements, by learning latest industry skills/techniques through trainings etc

Be a focal point for reviewing/resolving /implementation of any new or old issues related to facility for all plants. And exchanging best practices between the plants for all facility works.

Sound knowledge of the current Manufacturing practices & procedures followed in Timken. He should independently evaluate current practices & support to continuously improve manufacturing processes across the plants using his knowledge.

Manufacturing Plant support: Provide support for implementing new designs/ ideas/ improvements and troubleshooting guide on facility management.

Guide Engineers/ Technicians within/outside the group in terms of Technical Assistance & support for projects/day to day activities.

Supporting the plants in getting best ratings in facility related audits & compliances.

Plan, schedule multiple disciplines in design & construction and monitor quality of design & construction.

Setting defined processes & QAP & other documents for ensuring proper implementation of required activities.

Work involves preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) as per user requirements (respective departments), coordinating for PO release with purchasing team & execution of work as per drawings prepared.

Co-ordinate with different functions (like user dept for actual requirement, SCM for vendor short listing, technical finalization, legal for statutory & other compliance fulfillment, Safety, finance for budgetary, cash flow & vendor payment details & maintenance for handover) to deliver the required facility works.

Provide strong technical support to manufacturing plants on an on-going basis.

To facilitate & ensure completion of required yearly facility audits & reviews for all plants in India.

Support in ensuring best Infrastructural practices during construction & resolving any Infrastructural issues happening at site.

To handle multiple projects in various parts of India simultaneously and work with various agencies like Architects, Project Management Consultants and vendors executing Facility and utility works.
