Job Title : Project Finance Controller

Contract Type : Long-Term Contract (9 to 12 months, potential for permanent conversion based on performance)
Location : Indore and Pilibhit
Experience Required : CA Qualified with 12 to 15 years in Project Finance

Notice Period : Immediate joiners preferred; Max 2 months with buyout option

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Project Finance Controller for a full-time, on-site role at one of our Big4 client locations. The candidate will play a critical role in managing project finances, overseeing the capitalization of assets, controlling financial activities, and providing strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities :

• Capitalization of Assets : Manage the financial aspects of capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenses (OPEX).
• Project Finance Management : Oversee finances for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Financial Controllership : Ensure accurate financial reporting, control costs, and manage financial risk across the project lifecycle.
• Plant Controllership : Lead financial control at the plant level, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Financial Analysis : Provide detailed financial insights and analysis to guide project decision-making and strategic planning.
• Financial Reporting & Statements : Ensure accurate preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including project management and engineering teams to align financial performance with project objectives.

Qualifications :

• Education : Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Experience : 12 to 15 years of experience in:
• Project Finance
• Capitalization of Assets
• Greenfield and Brownfield projects
• Financial Controllership and Plant Controllership
• Managing CAPEX, OPEX
• Skills :
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide financial insights
• Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and control mechanisms
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in team environments
