In this role, you will work closely with senior and intermediate designers to support the development of workplace design concepts and detailed drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in the design industry and gain valuable experience in a collaborative, dynamic, and multi-cultural work environment.

  • Assist senior designers in creating design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for workplace interiors.
  • Preparation of BOQ and review with vendor for the costing.
  • Research materials, finishes, furniture, and equipment to support the design concept and budget.
  • Create presentations, mood boards, and 3D visualizations, Auto CAD design to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the design team to deliver medium to large-scale workplace projects.
  • Undertake site, furniture, and equipment surveys.
  • Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and suppliers when required to discuss design specifications and project timelines.
  • Day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Provide support on projects from inception to completion with the design and project team members.
  • Create project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Provide design support during all phases of design, ensuring that the design intent is maintained.
  • Shall be responsible to implement all activities as the works demand and as directed by the Fit-out & MEP In-charge and construction manager.
  • Supervision and monitoring of the civil, Landscaping /Fit Out works on site, Managing the day -to-day execution activities as per Civil/Fit-out & MEP Works In-charge instructions.
  • Handling site logistic to ensure effective traffic management inside the construction site.
  • Thoroughly studying the drawings and coordinating with the Works In -charge for any review or clarifications.
  • Having sound knowledge of Civil/Interior , and MEP works execution.
  • Monitoring the materials delivered and installation done by contractors in line with the Architectural requirements.
  • Ensuring the works are implemented as per the drawings and site instructions provided.
  • Coordination with all vendors for day-to-day site execution and ensuring on-time work completion with quality and safety.
  • Ensuring effective implementation of SOP and work protocol set by the project manager throughout the project.
  • Responsible for monitoring delegated tasks of various work agencies to ensure smooth execution without any damage or rework.
  • Maintaining effective and clear communication with all contractors and vendors following the protocols set by the Works In -charge and project manager.
  • Reporting all site -related issues to the Works In -charge to ensure the project schedule is not affected.
  • Playing a key role in supervising and monitoring any rework or crises that may arise during implementation, in close coordination with team members and with the support from the Works In-charge and Project Manager.

  • A degree in interior design or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in workplace interior design.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of workplace design trends, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from intermediate and senior designers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
