Project Engineer-Telecom system

This is a Project Engineer-Telecom system role, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost# effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Experience in preparing Engineering Documentation, Design Specification, Cabinet/Panel GA and Wiring Drawing, Heat Dissipation and power Consumption, Building Layouts, Field Layouts and Test Procedure
• Assisting in Project\'s Engineering Planning and Monitoring
• Resolving Key technical issues and Interface with customer
• Resolving Technical & Quality issues with concerned discipline and providing technical guidance to the team
• Involving in kick off meetings with client
• Checking all Engineering deliverables, pertaining to a project, prior to issue
• Participating in design reviews, weekly and monthly meetings etc.
• Training of Engineers and draftsmen reporting to self. Responsible for timely communication of various activity across the inter department like production, Administration etc

Your background

• B.E/B.Tech education is required
• 3 to 8years of relevant work experience
• Must have knowledge on Closed Circuit TV, Access Control System, Public Addressing & General Alarm System, Intrusion detection, Microwave Radio, SDH, PAGA, DWDM, Fiber Technologies, Structure cabling.
• Nice to have knowledge on CCNA/CCNP
• Knowledge of Public Address and General Alarm Systems (PAGA), Telephone Systems, Data Networks LAN/WAN, Network Security and IP telephony, Security Automation Systems CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter protection Systems, Radio communications VHF/UHF, Point to Multi Point radio, TETRA, Microwave radio transmission
• Experience in building test strategy & test plans, understanding standards and regulatory requirements
• Hands on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting of networking devices
• Hands on experience in handling and configuring wired & wireless network topologies, Firewalls and Network Security
• Efficient in Preparing Coverage study for PAGA, RADIO, CCTV Storage Calculation will be preferable
• Shall have experience in System Configuration, Site Survey, FAT, Commissioning, SAT. Ensures successful Project closeout
• Project reporting to customer and management
