Job Description

The Project Engineer from a Real Estate or construction background will be responsible for all engineering and technical discipline that projects involve. The position will also be responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting, resource management and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Duties and Responsibilities

• To prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• To Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• To perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule plans, personnel\xe2\x80\x99s performance) and report regularly on project status.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective plans.
• To coordinate architects, designers, consultants, purchase and admin personnel technical teams, contractors, vendors and supervisors.
• Ensure a strong reporting system as per requirements of senior management.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation.
• Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools.

Qualifications

• BE \xe2\x80\x93 Civil Engineering/ B.tech. or equivalent.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a project engineer.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in business support systems.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Project management and supervision skills.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: 935,000.00 - 940,000.00 per month Schedule:

• Day shift

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
