Job Title - Project Engineering Manager

Location - Mumbai, India

Job model - WFO - Onsite



We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Project Engineering Manager Resource.

Key Responsibilities



• Leads the Engineering aspects of the PEP in close cooperation with the LCP Project Manager, Lead Discipline Experts, various technology specialists and external engineering contractors.
• Manages the interface between the GOE and BU experts, site team and engineering team to ensure a safe and quality design.
• Ensures the overall design is of required quality, consistent and meets the applicable requirements for that specific project phase.
• Liaise with Project Procurement Manager to timely prepare the RFQ/ITB and PO.
• Liaise with Construction Manager for field engineering, commissioning, validation activities and start-up to support the start-up team and its Operations Management to effectively start-up the plant.
• Ensures proper archiving and handover of the project documentation in existing or newly set up system.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and best practices in engineering or technology driven projects with proven track record in large capital project delivery.
• Strong work ethics. Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Strong ability to drive and align internal & external stakeholders with excellent influential skills.

You bring



• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering from institutes like IIT, NIT or other premier institutes.
• Good command of English both oral and written.
• Good knowledge on tools like AutoCAD, MS Projects is a must.
• More than 10+ years of working experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization in Chemical/FMCG/F&B industry.
• Experience in project management is a plus, must be good in designing, factory lay outing, capacity mapping.
• Keen ability to manage stake holders.
