• Project Planning & Coordination :
• Collaborate with the event planning and design teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering requirements with event goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules for the setup and execution of exhibitions and events.
• Coordinate with stakeholders (clients, vendors, suppliers, contractors) to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Design & Technical Execution :
• Oversee the technical design and installation of pavilions, booths, and event infrastructure (lighting, sound systems, AV equipment, signage).
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Manage the selection of materials, construction, and fabrication processes for exhibits and event structures.
• Vendor & Supplier Management :
• Coordinate and manage vendors and subcontractors (e.g., carpenters, electricians, AV technicians) to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
• Review technical specifications from suppliers and ensure that they meet event requirements.
• Budget & Cost Management :
• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring costs stay within agreed limits.
• Track and report on project expenditure, identifying potential cost overruns and mitigating them.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
• Site Management :
• Oversee the setup and installation of exhibits and event infrastructure on-site.
• Ensure all work is completed on time, safely, and to the required standards.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Problem Solving & Issue Resolution :
• Act as the primary point of contact for any technical or engineering issues during the event setup or execution.
• Address unforeseen challenges promptly, making quick decisions to ensure minimal disruption to the project timeline.
• Quality Control & Assurance :
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality in all installations, ensuring exhibits and event structures are safe, secure, and functional.
• Perform quality checks during setup and prior to the event to ensure all installations meet specifications.
• Health & Safety Management :
• Ensure that all engineering and installation processes adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Oversee safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analysis at various stages of the project.
• Manage the safe removal of exhibits and event infrastructure post-event.
• Post-Event Evaluation :
• Assist in the deconstruction and breakdown of event setups.
• Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders on the technical aspects of the project.
• Contribute to project debrief meetings to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
