Common duties for these professionals include: Designing engineering solutions that protect or prevent flood damage . Overseeing daily or weekly testing of a city or county's water supply to ensure it's safe to use and drink. Advising government agencies or specific industries on environmental standards and policies.

Design or oversee projects involving provision of potable water, disposal of wastewater and sewage, or prevention of flood-related damage . Prepare environmental documentation for water resources, regulatory program compliance, data management and analysis, and field work.

Regulates and records flow of water, and checks water levels in sedimentation, tanks, filters and distribution reservoir . Operates chlorinator, controls chlorine dosing and performs residual chlorine testing and other basic chemical and microbiological tests.

Water treatment engineers play an important role in ensuring the water we rely on every day is safe and healthy to use and drink . These professionals are involved in various aspects of water regulations, including ensuring clean water, disposing of sewage and waste water and the preventing damage caused by floods.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
