Project Engineer - Process Power Manager

### Your role and responsibilities


Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Handling testing, installation and commissioning activities Assisting in preparing proposal or presentation of engineering projects or programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.) Supporting the Contract Manager in change management (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.) Creating work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility. Reviewing and approving scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost Completing power management system related risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one's area of responsibility Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables

### Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical and electronics engineering
• Require 3 to 6 years relevant experience in engineering and commissioning of Power Management System (PMS) covering the functionalities of primary equipment monitoring and control, load shedding, load sharing, synchronization etc
• Hands on experience in designing substation network architecture of control systems, control philosophy for process / power plants and software, hardware design and test experience with any of DCS
• Working knowledge on utility communication protocols like IEC61850, OPC, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 101,104, TCP/IP, Prefab's, Profinet, Fieldbus, SPA
• Experience in developing HMI graphics/logics related to Primary equipment monitoring and control, Load shedding, Load sharing, PQ Controls, Synchronization etc
• Hands on experience on multi-vendor IED Engineering and commissioning in electrical protection relay applications
