4.1 Position TitleEngineer- Projects4.2 Position reports toVice President/GM- Engineering/Sr. Manager/Projects4.3 Primary ObjectiveThe person defined shall provide the technical support within the project team.Essential Skills/ExperienceCompleted technical studies B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.Knowledge in Mechanical/Chemical engineering and basic knowledge of process technology.Experience in order handling within the plant engineering industry, especially for the processing industry helpful.Experience & Knowledge of items like compressors, blowers, centrifugal fans, bag filters, inline/Safety filters, heat exchangers, valves is a must.Good English skills in writing and reading.Technical and economical minded.Solution-oriented.Flexible.Communicative.Team Player.Willing to travelMain Role & ResponsibilitiesFunctional planning and execution of particular work packages within the given parameters as agreed upon with the project manager Evaluation of customer\xe2\x80\x99s specifications Develop technical solutions and generate bidding documents considering customer\xe2\x80\x99s Specifications.Technical specifications of machines and apparatuses for inquiry and order Bid comparisons and technical management of suppliers Execution and co-ordination of changes within the dedicated tasks Preparation of necessary component documentations and the respective, general plant documentation (lists, descriptions, plans, etc.)Participation in order-specific quality assurance Prepare specifications and datasheets in accordance with project requirements to ensure all compliances are met.Reporting to Sr. Engineer/AM-Projects & providing assistance as and when required. Provides supervision and direction to Subordinate Engineers.
