They may work with architects, designers, and project managers to develop project plans, timelines.Inspections: - Project engineers are responsible for conducting regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that work is progressing according to plans and specifications. They must identify and resolve any issues that may arise during constructionQuality Control: - Ensuring that Installation, Commissioning, testing & Commissioning work meets quality standards is a key responsibility of a Project engineer. They may conduct quality control inspections, perform tests on materials.Coordination: - Project Engineer often act as a liaison between different parties involved in the project, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. They coordinate work schedules, resolve conflicts, and facilitate communication to keep the project on track.Safety Management: - Safety is paramount on Project sites, and Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring that all work is carried out safely. They enforce safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and address any safety concerns that arise.Problem Solving: - Projects can encounter various challenges and unexpected issues. Engineers must be adept at problem-solving and be able to quickly find solutions to keep the project moving forwardDocumentation: - Project Engineers are responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and correspondence.
