Business Information: The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\'s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Responsibilities : Responsible for Cyber security standards implementation across all projects and product. Involvement in Customer meetings, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, Commissioning and Handover. Preparing standards and focus on continuous improvements both technically and functionally. Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project. Preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Required the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area. Your Background: Bachlors degree in B.E/M. E in Computer Science. Must have 3-5 years of experience. Experience in commissioning of PCS and Energy Storage systems is preferred. Experience in various PLC, RTU control systems in must. Experience in commissioning of power plants. Experience closed loop & open loop programming, PID tuning & HMI. Capability to drive the electrical and control design engineering specification of the project independently Excellent level of English required.
