Business Information: The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\'s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Your Responsibilities: Ownership of complete Projects execution from Base design to commissioning and hand over. Manage projects independently interface with multiple internal /external stake holders to ensure smooth design /delivery of Project. CS Software & Hardware design, testing & commissioning experience with control systems of Process plants using SCADA & RTU. Maintain a good understanding on various aspects of renewable energy source and their characteristics, communication, controllers (hardware and software), plug-n-play operation, interoperability, grid/microgrid codes, distribution level connection requirements, and other technologies for microgrids. Current knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC Handling, Windows Applications, PC configurations, Virus Scanners, Interfaces & Backup, etc). Sound knowledge in installing and configuring of various Windows OS versions & MS Office applications. Should possess excellent customer handling skills, ability to interact and comply with the standards of both domestic & international customers. Self-starter, Good personality, flexible, confident & fluent in spoken and written English. Willingness to travel within and outside the country is must. Responsible for timely completion of technical solution with correctness and quality of engineering deliverables of the project. Your Background: B.E/M E - CS and cyber security. Should have 2-5 years\' experience in CS process control design and engineering functions executing large projects. Experience in commissioning of PCS and Energy Storage systems is preferred. Experience in various PLC, RTU control systems in must. Experience in commissioning of power plants. Experience closed loop & open loop programming, PID tuning & HMI. Coordination skills within a multinational company. Experience coordinating and cooperating with colleagues from multiple countries and with multicultural backgrounds. Problem solving & conflict resolution. Eye for details. High customer orientation. Communications & Presentation skills.
