You will be working as Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation business area for Measurement & Analytics division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible to design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost- effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities
Preparing project documentation within one\xe2\x80\x99s scope of deliverables. Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments
Finalizing \xe2\x80\x98Fail Safe Philosophy\xe2\x80\x99 and other key concepts as part of Kick-off and designing freeze meetings
Participating in project meetings and resolving any outstanding technical issues to meet contractual obligations. Site visit and KOM with the Customer to clear out all the technical queries
Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Ensuring Bill of Material (BOM) for the project meets contractual obligations and project gross margin requirements by not generating Project Left-Over Material (PLOM)
Following work plans and cost estimates provided by the Project Manager and ensuring quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost. Collaborating with the Supply Chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the contractual obligations
Preparing drawings for the in-house manufacturing, Quality Assurance Plan, Detailed Factory Acceptance test documents and getting approval from the customer for in house inspection. Designing and implementation of Cause and Effect charts in Analyzer systems, mainly in analyzer shelters for providing the safe working of analyzer in line with Safe/Hazardous area location
Coordinating with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the technical solutions are appropriately manufactured/ staged and tested. Updating the engineering deliverables as-built post installation & commissioning
Your background
Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering
Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in design engineering of Process Analyzer system cabinets and shelters for process industries
Knowledge on designing CEMS CGA systems analyzer systems with Continuous Gas Analyzers, Process Gas Chromatographs, FTNIR, Liquid Analyzers, Physical Properties Analyzers, Gas Detectors
Knowledge of sizing/selection of Sampling System Components such as Pump, Pressure Regulators, Flow Meters, Pressure/Temperature
