Role Summary:
Project Engineer is the primary point of contact for the customer and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. Project Engineer to work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project activity is regularly reported to the client and performed as per agreed technical specifications and project terms and conditions.Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Responsible for project management & execution of multiple jobs pertaining to various customers- Customer focused with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across varying functional/business platforms.- Coordinate with Engineering team and obtain drawing approvals from the customer
- Collaborate with the internal departments to ensure that the product is delivered to the customer on time as per the agreed terms & conditions
- Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment with proven success in administrating commercial and/or government contracts.
- Demonstrate success in influencing people through effective collaboration, problem-solving and relational engagement.
- Support 30 day/ quarterly sales forecast and monthly outlook processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently and be a team player with a global mindset and approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with little supervision.- Effective verbal and written communications
- Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision- Communicate to all concerned parties project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues. Follow the right escalation processes and take overall ownership of all reports.- Other duties as assigned.Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Valve manufacturing experience preferred- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Effective verbal and written communications
- Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globally
- Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plus- Adaptability, flexibility, and proactivity- English fluent
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering and minimum 7 years of experience.
