Job Title: Project Engineer - Electrical Diagrams, Wiring, and Site Commissioning

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling electrical diagrams, wiring, and site commissioning. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Diagrams:

- Design, review, and update electrical diagrams and schematics.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with the design team to create accurate and detailed electrical drawings.

- Utilize CAD software for creating and modifying electrical schematics.

2. Wiring:

- Oversee and perform the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical wiring systems.

- Ensure all wiring work is performed according to specifications and safety standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues as they arise.

- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and components.

3. Site Commissioning:

- Plan and execute the commissioning of electrical systems on-site.

- Conduct system tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning.

- Provide technical support and guidance to on-site personnel.

- Document commissioning processes and prepare detailed reports.

- Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.

4. Project Management:

- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.

- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.

- Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients.

5. Quality Assurance:

- Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of work.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications.

- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

6. Health and Safety:

- Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures on project sites.

- Provide safety training and guidance to team members and subcontractors.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in the electrical field.

- Strong knowledge of electrical diagrams, schematics, and wiring.

- Experience with site commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certification in electrical engineering or a related field.

- Experience in industrial automation and control systems.

- Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI development.
