Job Title: Project Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and monitoring various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop project plans, including objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities, tasks, and schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to project milestones.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including team members, clients, vendors, and management, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
• Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting agendas, and other project-related documentation to stakeholders as needed.
• Organize and lead project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews, and ensure action items are documented and followed up on.
• Assist with budget management, including monitoring project expenses, tracking invoices, and reporting on financial performance.
• Maintain project documentation, files, and records in a centralized repository, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for future reference.
• Support project managers in evaluating project outcomes, analyzing lessons learned, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Stay informed about project management best practices, tools, and methodologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Food Technologist or a related field.
• Proven experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and influence others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
