Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in driving the Trust's mission by coordinating projects and fundraising activities. The primary responsibilities will include organizing and managing donation drives, promoting training programs and seminars, and facilitating the sales of value-added products that support the Trust's programs. This role requires strong project management skills, an ability to engage with donors and clients, and a passion for community development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Donation Collection & Fundraising :
• Develop and implement strategies for donor engagement and fundraising activities.
• Organize and manage fundraising campaigns, donation drives, and events to raise funds for the Trust's charitable programs.
• Cultivate relationships with existing donors and identify potential new donors (individuals, organizations, corporates).
• Maintain accurate records of donations, send acknowledgements, and ensure donor recognition.
• Regularly update donors about the impact of their contributions and the Trust's programs.
• Promoting Training Programs & Seminars :
• Coordinate and promote the Trust's training programs, seminars, and workshops in the community and to organizations.
• Work with the marketing team to create awareness about upcoming programs and events.
• Engage with local businesses, educational institutions, and community groups to promote participation.
• Support the organization of events, ensuring all logistics and materials are handled effectively.
• Follow up with participants to gather feedback and ensure future engagement.
• Sales of Value-Added Products :
• Promote and sell value-added products that support the Trust's mission (e.g., handcrafted goods, educational materials, etc.).
• Work with vendors and local artisans to market and distribute the products.
• Manage sales targets and contribute to revenue generation through product sales.
• Identify new markets for value-added products and grow the sales network.
• Coordinate with the finance team for inventory management and product distribution.
• Project Coordination and Reporting :
• Plan, organize, and monitor the implementation of various charitable projects and programs.
• Ensure timely and efficient execution of fundraising campaigns, training sessions, and product sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with different teams (e.g., fundraising, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Track project progress and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all projects comply with the organization's mission and values.
• Stakeholder Management :
• Act as a liaison between the Trust and external stakeholders, including donors, participants, vendors, and partners.
• Coordinate meetings and communication to ensure alignment with the Trust's objectives.
• Foster long-term relationships with community leaders, corporates, and other potential partners.
• Administrative Support :
• Provide administrative support to senior management as required.
• Organize schedules, meetings, and events to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain documentation and records related to projects and donations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education : +2 in Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Additional qualifications in project management or fundraising will be an advantage.
• Experience :
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, fundraising, or community engagement (preferably in the non-profit sector).
• Experience in organizing events, handling donations, and promoting educational or social programs is desirable.
• Skills :
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools for tracking donations and contacts.
• A positive attitude and passion for social impact and community development.
