The Environment Conservation Society (ECS) works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including financial institutions, government bodies, community-level organizations, and vendors, to drive the large-scale adoption of sustainable solutions. ECS currently partners with over 100 grassroots NGOs across West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha through the " EEWA Network ." This network plays a vital role in both extending community mobilization and awareness activities to the last mile and facilitating programmatic learning through continuous information flow from intervention areas.
ECS addresses challenges through a comprehensive four-pronged strategy. This includes conducting thorough research for needs assessments, piloting innovative concepts and technologies, enhancing communication to raise awareness and mobilize diverse groups, and building skills and capacities around technology and processes. Additionally, ECS fosters a networked ecosystem that connects stakeholders across the value chain to ensure successful implementation of sustainable initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Project Administration: Coordinate events, including planning, participant invites and registrations, material preparation, distribution, and tracking of event details.
• Documentation: Maintain records of all documents and correspondence related to projects.
• Project Monitoring: Track and monitor project activities and progress.
• Reporting: Produce, review, and distribute project reports.
• Support: Assist the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, as required.
• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze information to support project development and implementation.
• Partnership Management: Develop and manage partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Organic Certification: Work on planning, plantation, organic certification documentation, and support inspection.
• Field Visits: Visit project areas and monitor organic practices.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture (preferred in Vegetable Science).
• Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Organization: Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Reporting: Proficient in reporting with good monitoring and evaluation skills.
• Accountability: Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Flexible, highly motivated self-starter.
• Language: Fluency in written and spoken English and the local language.
• Knowledge: Understanding of organic farming practices.
Additional Information
• Travel: Open to travel as required.
• Compensation: Up to 2.20 Lacs per annum - Fixed + Additional Variable Pay + Commitment Bonus •(compensation package will be aligned with qualifications, experience, and last drawn salary).•
