PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES


Under direct supervision of a more senior Project Lead (PL) or Deputy Project manager (DPM), the Project coordinator manages smaller projects or component(s) of a larger project. The Project coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team and in scope activities.


Project Management

- Manage execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals


- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan.


- Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.


- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.


- May be responsible for managing/ recording detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.


- Communicates information and ideas in writing so others will understand.


- Identify key project team members under supervision of a more senior Project Lead/ Deputy Project Manager by defining roles and responsibilities to create a project organization structure in order to develop the communication plan.


- Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project.


- Listens intently to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions when appropriate, and allowing others to speak without interrupting them.


- Inspires loyalty and trust, handles oneself ethically following core values and beliefs.


- Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members.






CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED


- Ability to work with leaders on projects and influence through logic basis business impact


- Ability to manage low to medium complexity projects single-handedly. Manage high-complex peojects under supervision of a senior project manager (PL/ DPM/ PM)


- PMP/ PRINCE 2/ Scrum/ITIL/ CAPM Certification (Desired but not Mandatory)


- Open to working in any shifts, dependent on the project requirements


- Demonstrate Basic level knowledge of Project Management process and tools


- Prior experience of client/customer handling skills or experience of working on client projects directly /indirectly


- Strong communication skills with no grammatical errors


- Ability to create presentations and write business cases with supervision under a more senior project or program manager


- Ability to work under tight deadlines managing a few priorities


- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of work situations


- Proficiency with MS Office






CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION


- Open to working from office as per team/ project/company requirements


- Open to working in any shifts, dependent on the project requirements


- Demonstrate Medium level knowledge of Project Management process and tools


- Prior experience of client/customer handling skills or experience of working on client projects directly /indirectly


- Strong communication skills with no grammatical errors


- Ability to create presentations and write business cases with supervision under a more senior project or program manager


- Ability to work under tight deadlines managing a few priorities


- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of work situations


- Proficiency with MS Office


- PMP/ PRINCE 2/ Scrum/ITIL/ CAPM Certification (would be preferred)


- Employee should not have been on PCCP (behavioral or performance) for the second time in the current role, in the last quarter or the current quarter


- Employee should be rated Achieving/Highly Valued Contributor(HVC) in the last performance cycle


- Employees returning from an oversees assignment will not be eligible to apply for an IPP/IJP outside of his/her domain/unit/team/ for a period of 6 months post returning.


- 12 months in the current role for Lateral movement (Level B1)


- Vertical movement Open
