About the Organization:
Indian Cancer Society is committed in extending holistic knowledge, treatment and rehabilitation through its "Rise Against Cancer" movement. Our activities encompass the entire continuum of Cancer Care - cancer awareness, screening for early detection, financial help for treatment, support groups, rehabilitation of cancer survivors, registry, research & education.
Contract Period- Six months (Extendable as per the performance)
Location: Koppal, Karnataka
Project Coordinator -Cancer Screening
Roles and Responsibilities:
• To plan, strategize and conduct Cancer Awareness and Screening camps
• Coordinate with local health authorities, get the required permissions for camps and coordinate with the external agencies.
• Conduct reconnaissance visits and other visits as and when required within the geography.
• To look after the overall camp operations. End to end project management of cancer awareness and cancer screening camps.
• Daily, weekly and monthly program and finance reporting of the camps with updates to the Project Manager at ICS.
• Regular visits to the cancer screening camps at all campsites for monitoring and evaluation
• Inter-departmental coordination with all departments at ICS.
• Apart from the above, the management may also assign jobs to you in keeping with the requirements of the organisation and senior level participation in various other activities.
• Reports to - Chief Operation Manager
• Other assignments from the Director as and when required
Educational Qualification
Masters in Social Work
Experience
4-5 years' experience in NGOs or Development Organization or any other CSR projects.
Experience in Cancer space is desirable.
Experience in working with government health department
Experience in planning, strategy, of end-to-end project management in healthcare domain
Experience of leading a team.
Experience in Financial planning, budgeting of projects.
Skills required
MS Office, Excel and any other data analysing tool
Skills on program/project management.
Report writing
Donor management and Fundraising.
Strong market, community and constituent perspective.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
English communication is mandatory.
Ability to monitor and adjust activities to respond to changing circumstances and priorities to meet goals.
Compassionate and kind attitude towards survivors
Expectation
Need to travel 70 - 80 % .
Ready to work under tight timeline, schedule and pressure

Commensurate with educational qualification, experience and standard market rates

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
