With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world\xe2\x80\x99s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:We are now recruiting a Project Consultant - GIS to fill our current vacancy to work on various kinds Environmental Planning projects.Role accountabilities:Must be the single point of contact for the customer and the team in technical design, assurance, work process etc

• Ensure designs adhere to quality standards of the customer.
• Provide scalable/resilient operations to the customer.
• Single point of contact to resolve complex technical queries / matters both for the customer and internal staff.
• Guide, mentor to the team, and motivate them to excel in performance.
• Provide guidance to the team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by line manager.

Responsibilities:Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced.

• Having an understanding of the UK and European regulations applicable to the discipline and how to demonstrate this in project execution.
• Have a working understanding of latest GIS and Remote sensing software packages to allow the allocation / direction of work on projects.
• Have an ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively.
• Ability to develop GIS design layouts and schematics.
• Able to collaborate with other disciplines including Regions.
• Able to communicate effectively (both internally within Arcadis and externally).

Mandatory Skills:

• Able to work effectively and competently with people at all levels, within and external to the organization.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literate; proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications. Experienced in specialist software packages including ESRI and other GIS technology.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online and production of Story Maps
• Experience in processing drone data in Drone2Map and publishing to ArcGIS Enterprise/AGOL
• Experience in creating Web Maps for offline data capture in the field using ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123 and Collector for ArcGIS
• Successful completion of a degree or relevant technical qualification from a recognised Tertiary Institution.
• Minimum 12 - 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in GIS and excellent understanding of ESRI GIS software
• Exposure to CAD technology and techniques preferable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify innovative solutions to problems.
• Ability to organise and prioritise oneself.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to apply GIS processes and technology to tasks arising from infrastructure projects in an innovative way.
