Supports the management of small portions of well defined projects. Provides administrative and logistics support for a project team and project manager.Key Responsibilities:Serves as a support resource on projects and work assignments. Assists in identifying, tracking, and working with others to resolve project issues. Helps monitor and communicate project status to project team. Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support; provides administrative support for the design and development of project plans and timelines. Assists with managing project risk; completes administrative work in the use of quality tools to identify areas of risk. Supports documenting and sharing team learnings with other teams. Drives actions to minimize, monitor and control risks and issues and to maximize the most positive outcomes possible.Project Resource Management - Develops resource (expense and headcount) plans using recommended project management tools and processes to manage resources effectively.Project Schedule Management - Manages the planned schedule using the recommended schedule management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.Project Scope Management - Manages a list of project deliverables (scope) using the recommended project management tools and processes to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully.Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.Education, Licenses, Certifications:High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.College or equivalent degree preferred.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Aftermarket Parts -Understanding of the aftermarket parts system from part number release through on stocking at parts distribution centers. Identify and release parts for various domestic and exports aftermarket channel. Tracking part release and status in various Cummins systems such as IMS, Windchill, PBS, GOMS etc. Ensures that service parts support for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and the Distribution channel is available at first shipment for new product launches.Identify service strategy and path to market.
  • Product Structure - Aware of and can apply the rationale around the identification of product items and the methodology for structuring this information into saleable, manufacturable and serviceable product.
  • Global Perspective - Awareness of the company\'s role in global markets. Some understanding of geographic differences and implications of decisions in strategies and approaches.
  • Initiative - Understands their ownership for starting and completing tasks in a timely manner. Some evidence of identifying and taking ownership of problems encountered and suggested solutions.
  • Attention to Details - Demonstrates ability to work in a thorough and detailed manner. Provides accurate, consistent information on all documents. Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved.
Additional responsibilities
  • Support product stocking and forecasting projections.
  • Support the investigation of complex service part issues and facilitate the identified solutions.
  • Serves as a support resource to assists and participate in functional, and management reviews to ensure availability of new service level components and disposition established for others.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Oracle and IMS.
  • Engineering release processing and implementation for aftermarket
