Overview: A Finance Analyst is considered a Project Analyst and is a key player in the success of clinical trials and manages a portfolio of projects with varying complexities. They will work cross-functionally with the operational delivery team, project management team and functional support teams such as regulatory affairs, biometrics, safety, legal and corporate finance. The Project Analyst is responsible for both revenue and cost financial forecasts for their portfolio. Through the development and negotiation of change orders, the Financial Analyst supports scope management and recovery. Further responsibilities include revenue and profitability reporting to corporate leadership, project financial analyses to support project and risk management decisions and any client financial deliverables. The project analyst provides end-to-end support over the entire clinical project lifecycle and is the key financial contact for project teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of projects with varying complexities. Identify and highlight potential issues related to project financial risks that impact ICON\'s profitability. Project Analysis: assess the project\'s performance to contract as well as anticipated risks. Communicate issues and risks to the project team as well as upper management. Demonstrate effective time management skills and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously. Revenue forecasting and recognition: ensure estimate to complete reflects the project expectations. Scope management: proactively work with the project team to ensure new scope and sponsor requests are captured in the budget. Profitability and cash flow analysis: evaluate net project position and manage receivables. General Expectations: Effective communicator Learns quickly and is adaptable. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Thrives in a complex and fast paced environment. Deadline and Process driven. Strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills Team player Be able to work with cross functional teams. Flexibility to work in US hours when needed (mainly during Month End or to attend internal/external meetings) What do you need to have Bachelor\'s degree or its international equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, preferred. (May consider AA degree with experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong Excel Skills required. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
