  • Prepare reporting tasks, including financial reporting (accruals and forecasts), invoice management and portfolio updates.
  • Follow guidance notes, templates and tools to execute and manage tasks, and ensure all documentation is kept up to date.
  • Under the supervision of Legal Project Managers, provide matter and operational support to internal lawyers. This includes:
  • Regularly reviewing the commercial arrangement in place against the agreed matter scope and assumptions to ensure it reflects value for money and remains fit-for-purpose.
  • Tracking the scope, milestones and spend of the matter.
  • Flagging risks on potential budget overrun and scope deviations and following up on any required actions.
  • Facilitating budget reporting, portfolio updates and any other tasks such as billing queries.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in finance, or equivalent with minimum of 5+ years of experience in Finance / Procurement.
  • Project Management skills will be added advantage.
  • Attention to details and ability to work independently and, where required, collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lateral thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload.
  • Be able to work with data in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Be able to interpret financial data such as budgets and accruals
