KEY FOCUS AREAS Collaborates with Application Support domain domain experts, Infrastructure leads, Product Engineering leads & Architects, Proposition and Product Managers and technology finance functions to gather / provide additional details around requirements and remove ambiguities Ensures all program data and reporting is accurate and timely. Performs analysis of capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) needs of project portfolio and submit budget forecasts and proposals Creates and presents business capability roadmaps to senior management to enable investment decisions during governance gates Works with leads across technology and business functions to accommodate product / infrastructure organic or KTLO growth, industry-driven events and incorporate them into technology infrastructure demand roadmaps Develops an understanding of key Refinitiv technology platforms to understand, elaborate and drive products requirements Understands and adapts to evolving industry technology standards Budget forecasting, proposition, management and tracking. Ensures approved budgets are spent per committed plans. Works closely with peers across Product Management and Product Engineering to synchronize delivery across wider Refinitiv technology footprint. Represents the Data & Analytics function in all key phases of project delivery life cycle to ensure successful delivery. Coordinating cross-platform & infrastructure activities driven by external and internal partners. Timely detection and mitigation of risks. Generic competencies Knowledge / Education Technical and/or business degree or equivalent with computer science/IT experience/knowledge. Good understanding of financial services industry and products including Refinitiv markets. Firm understanding of IT infrastructure and the core function and process to operate and run. 5+ years of operational and/or development experience in a large-scale IT organisation In depth understanding and experience with release & change functions within operations and development Experience of balancing risk with business requirements. Experience with ITIL processes and Agile development methodology. Proven experience in a global and/or culturally diverse role Strong communication experience including stakeholders and senior management. Strong Data Analysis skills along with deep Excel expertise to be able to manipulate data critical to programs. The individual: Has an ability to balance focus between immediate service priorities, pipeline delivery, automation improvement and strategic transformation Has a drive for continuous improvement and can manage change and transformation effectively, Has experience and understanding of traditional infrastructures, virtualised and cloud environment and the associated implication for applications and processes. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
