• The DBS Transformation as part DCOO helps Global business & Function to delivery change by providing professional change management services.
• The Project Management Office (PMO) within DBS Transformation, supports the business\xe2\x80\x99s high priority and significant change programmes and the strategies of the Business & Function. We provide services to Value streams, Regional Portfolios, Programmes and Projects across the business & Function. The PMO help ensure benefits of change are realised and investments are focused on delivering value to the customers through portfolio management, training, resource planning, and project coordination.

The Opportunity:

• The Programme and Project Services Analyst is part of the Central Portfolio Project Management Office (PMO) of the DBS Transformation.
• The activities of the PMO are broadly centralized around the Portfolio Governance, Assurance, Reporting, Value Stream Investment Management and Change Management. This role will act as a source of guidance in supporting the PPM Leads for making strategic decisions. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to the HSBC Change Framework, using the standard portfolio management tools aligned to the groups Strategic Tooling Spine such as Clarity, JIRA and working closely with their colleagues the DBS Transformation team.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Monitor & Control, Report the delivery of Programme/ project outcomes within the Portfolio
• Support the Delivery leads in defining required scope, quality, cost and effort
• Support Monthly governance Rhythms. Co-ordinate & prepare materials for key Programme/ project level meetings.
• Manage delivery dashboards for insightful visualisation of flow of project plan, key milestones, dependencies to support decision-making.
• Ensure data is accurate and reporting the latest status for all the key parameters.
• Support in facilitating adherence of Change control around investment planning, scope, OKRs, features/capabilities
• Ensure the portfolio delivery pipeline is connected with financials and within capacity
• Collect & report thematic learnings from retrospectives to ensure cross implementation
• Monitor & Control, Report financial guardrails, ensure controls are in place and variances are tracked
• Monitor & Control, Report resource capacity pattern
• Provide a view of the SVS/ Programme/ project\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance and ensure those are in line with defined portfolio strategy, customer & business outcomes.
• Support management of portfolio/programme Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the transformation team as appropriate
• Maintain continuous improvement plans to support the new Ways of Operating.
• Act as an SME in case of tooling migration, etc.
• Ensure compliance to HSBC Change Framework and bank standards

• A strong team player with solid stakeholder management skills and a consultative approach to engaging with internal clients
• Strong planning and organizing, ability to see the big picture
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to details and technicalities

Hard Skills:

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• 5-10 years of proven work experience as a Project Management Officer or similar role in product/ services organisations
• Knowledge of industry standards in programme, portfolio management
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), PPM Tools, Collaboration tools
• Working knowledge of coordinating projects run in Agile methodologies
• Excellent organizational and technical abilities
• Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Project Management Officer

What additional skills will be good to have?

• HSBC Change Framework, Group Tools such as Clarity / Jira / Confluence / GPDM
• Thorough understanding of Billing process, Cost Allocation Methodology, Cost recharges, Value stream Investment Plan, Management & reporting (Investments + Benefits) including GPDM Hierarchy
• Relevant industry certification preferred PMP/P3O/MSP/MOP
• Certification in Agile.
