Roles & Responsibilities :


• Stay updated and actively engaged with VTI content to ensure alignment with evolving industry standards and the needs of youth.
• Provide constructive inputs to refine training materials and methodologies.
• Co-design and facilitate tailored training programs for VTIs.
• Conduct regular visits to VTI centers in Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu to support trainers in curriculum planning, content delivery, and enhancing training quality.
• Collaborate with trainers to elevate the quality of methodologies, materials, and assessments.
• Mentor trainers, placement officers, and centers to build independence and sustainability.
• Identify areas of improvement and integrate best practices in training, placements, and alumni engagement by engaging stakeholders.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage donor engagements.
• Collaborate with VTI heads to ensure:
+ Fulfillment of MoU commitments related to training and placements.
+ Timely release and utilization of subgrant funds.
+ Implementation of impactful quality interventions.
• Partner with NSTI Hyderabad to meet learner training needs focused on employability skills.
• Provide mentorship to the NSTI Hyderabad facilitator for curriculum planning, content delivery, and placement processes.
• Actively participate in organizational forums and working groups, contributing insights, lessons, and innovations to enhance youth employability programs.
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Support youth employability-related activities aligned with program objectives.
• Capture and document program learnings to inform and improve future initiatives.
• Develop effective working relationships with organization leaders in Karnataka.
• Contribute to industry engagement strategies in Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, focusing on emerging trends in green and tech relevant to VTIs.
• Design strategies for center-level career connect events and support My QUEST program activities.
• Establish a pool of potential partners in the South to strengthen engagement and resources.
• Collaborate with thematic and support function teams to meet program and organizational needs.
• Ensure timely submission of monitoring data using appropriate M&E tools.
• Conduct assessments, including baseline and endline studies, as needed.
• Track and follow up with ITIs, VTIs, and Polytechnics on enrollment and dropout data, ensuring alignment with M&E frameworks.
• Maintain and update student data in the central database.
• Share monthly reports to keep trainers and institute principals informed of ongoing work.
• Provide regular updates tracking progress against work plans and schedules through written and verbal reports.
• Submit detailed reports, including case studies and photographs, to the M&E focal point in a timely manner.
• Document success stories from centers, trainers, and students to highlight program impact.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting through active participation in team meetings and reviews.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of event details, such as session plans, participant lists, reports, and photographs.


Requirements


Skills & Experience


• 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the youth employability sector.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and manage partnerships effectively.
• Competence in leading teams across multiple geographies.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong ability to achieve program goals and deliver results on time.
• Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to dynamic program needs.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the country for external visits.
• Team-oriented with strong negotiation and consultation skills.
• Enthusiastic about engaging in green initiatives, both internally and externally.


•Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 35,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)•
