We develop scalable analytics applications and research modeling to optimize operation processes. We standardize and optimize data sources and visualization efforts across geographies, build up and maintains the online BI services and data mart. You will work with professional software development managers, data engineers, scientists, business intelligence engineers and product managers using rigorous quantitative approaches to ensure high quality data tech products for our customers around the world, including India, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, Middle East and Japan.We are looking for experienced Program Manager to join us and lead the analytics tech programs.Amazon is growing rapidly and because we are driven by faster delivery to customers, a more efficient supply chain network, and lower cost of operations, our main focus is in the development of end to end tech products to help operators improve their experience, solve capacity problems, improve the network effectiveness and build the training suite for on ground operators using the massive amounts of data available at our disposal. You will be responsible for ideating and nurturing products that improve the economics of Amazon\'s worldwide fulfillment networks in emerging countries as Amazon increases the speed and decreases the cost to deliver products to customers. You will identify and evaluate opportunities to drive efficiency by improving reporting processes, data pipelines, and BI solutions. Finally, you will help create the metrics to quantify improvements to the fulfillment costs (e.g., transportation and labor costs) resulting from the application of these optimization models and tools.As a PM, you will lead and work with a talented team to innovate and deliver business and software solutions. Your ability to define and develop high scalable and high performance web services is essential. You will have opportunities to work and ideate with developers on frontend (Website), backend (Services), deep learning and interact with WW business stakeholders directly. In addition, successful candidates will be able to lead by example, balance development responsibilities while participating in cross team efforts including architecture planning. To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable gathering requirements across the business teams, creating and maintaining technical project plans and diving into the technical details to understand the nuances and complexities involved.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering large projects end-to-end that span multiple technology and operational teams. These projects will include initiatives such as rolling out new technology to new geographies as we expand, creating new technology to support new businesses and use cases, and otherwise building great technology platforms that can scale to Amazon\'s size and global market places.In this role, you will lead large-scale re-architecture of our technology stack across multiple systems and teams. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts, coordinating across multiple teams to develop optimal solutions. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.Key job responsibilities
1. Work with product and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert into meaningful product strategies and roadmap
2. Work with tech teams to drive the programs
3. Write documentation on PRFAQs, OP Docs, Vision Documents, Program Reviews
4. Track goals, parity status, newsletters etc
5. Accountable for project delivery and the Single POC with business teamBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor\'s degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions
