THE OPPORTUNITY


The ESG / Sustainability Program Manager role will support the creation, implementation, and managing of Xactly's Sustainability policies & practices, drive projects/programs across the value chain and support disclosures/reporting in-line with Global requirements. The role will report to the Director - ESG, while working closely with the ESG committee represented by cross-functional teams in Xactly.

THE SKILL SET:

• 3+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years of experience working in the space of climate change, environment, and sustainability preferably with reputed consulting firms, financial services institutions, or research firms
• Strong technical knowledge in the domain of ESG, Climate Change, Decarbonization Strategy
• Knowledge and experience in preparing sustainability reports and strategies, such as undertaking materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement activities and preparation of internal and external reporting with focus on ESG risk reporting frameworks (SASB, GRI,CDP etc)
• Ability to demystify and apply upcoming ESG concepts, regulations, and methodologies
• Strong experience in carbon footprint analysis, GHG assessment, climate risk and ESG advisory
• Robust knowledge of existing regulatory requirements for Global ESG risks & guidelines (with strong focus on US & EU ESG regulations)
• Excellent client management and project management skills
• Proficiency in leading teams and managing others, and supporting/mentoring team members
• Relevant master's degree (example: environmental science, engineering, economics, quantitative finance, or an MBA with a sustainability focus) is highly desirable


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Responsible for implementing ESG policies and management systems, managing and monitoring ESG risks, developing internal controls and measurement systems.
• Monitor, report and manage environmental performance across operations and the value chain covering GHG inventory, water, emissions, waste management.
• Define, set environmental targets, monitor performance, support identifying opportunities to achieve the targets.
• Drive/execute projects contributing to Xactly's sustainability goals viz., 50% carbon reduction by 2030, Net zero carbon emissions by 2050
• Strong knowledge on Environmental standards/procedures and should have an experience in implementing these standards
• ESG data management across locations and conduct verification, compilation and perform analysis reports as required for management reviews.
• Knowledge and understanding on ESG Reporting Standards [like GRI, CDP, SASB]
• Drive /improve Xactly businesses' sustainability ratings on globally recognized ESG assessment platform like Ecovadis
• Expertise in performing analysis of the data collated and discuss with concerned stakeholders for any anomalies and correct if any reporting error and forward the necessary data to ESG Reporting team.



Functional Competencies

• Strong understanding of ESG and climate change related regulations, technologies, and best practices
• Knowledge of sustainability standards/frameworks - BRSR, GRI, IR, UN SDGs etc.
• Experience working with sustainability data management tools like Watershed, Greenstone.
• Experience working with globally recognized ESG assessment platforms like Ecovadis
• Prior experience of sustainability/integrated report development, materiality, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience with tools like Slack, Google sheets, Google slides, Smartsheet
