The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture. xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bThe Fabric Release & Deployments team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong background in release management, operations, and program delivery to lead mission-critical initiatives supporting the Microsoft Fabric platform.
This role is ideal for individuals who combine technical program leadership, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for driving complex programs such as Ready-to-Deploy quality initiatives, global cluster buildouts, and incident response readiness, all with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable releases.

As a result, our customers are better served.Responsibilities:xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80xa2 Define program and release criteria, drive release quality metrics improvements.

• Define and evolve existing frameworks for program planning, execution, and release activities.
• Facilitate the definition and completion of program and release criteria for major milestones.
• Design and develop tools and services to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead and manage strategic programs related to release quality, service readiness, and platform scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product and reliability teams to ensure successful execution of release and deployment programs.
• Serve as a key partner to the Incident Management team, supporting customer escalations and driving actionable follow-ups.
• Establish and maintain robust metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to monitor program performance and service quality.
• Identify opportunities for operational automation and implement tooling, workflows, and AI agentic capabilities to enhance efficiency and scale.
• Drive the adoption of intelligent systems and AI-driven decision making across release and operational processes.
• Advocate for customer impact in all phases of program execution, ensuring the highest levels of quality and responsiveness.
• Communicate program status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership through structured reporting and business reviews.xe2x80x8b

Embody our andQualifications:Required/Minimum Qualificationsxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80xa2 Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmen
OR equivalent experience.

• 2+ years experience as a Release Manager.
• 1+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.xe2x80x8b xe2x80x8b

Other RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualificationsxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80xa2 Bachelor's Degree AND + 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.

• 4+ years experience as a Release manager.
• 2+ years project or program management experience.
• 2+ years experience in Power BI or any other similar tools is a plus. xe2x80x8b
